DHAKA, July 21, 2020 (BSS) – Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs
Division Secretary Naren Das died of coronavirus at Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital at 7.15pm today.
He was 56.
Naren Das left behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives
and well wishers to mourn his death.
Naren Das along with his wife were admitted to the hospital on July
5 as both of them were suffering from fever and respiratory problems.
Both of them were tested positive for Covid-19 on July 7 and were
undergoing treatment there.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq expressed
profound shock and sorrow at the death of Naren Das.
The minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar also expressed
deep sorrow at the death of Naren Das.
