RANGPUR, July 18, 2020 (BSS)- Promotional program, press briefing and seminar on ‘Skills and Awareness for Overseas Employment’ were held at Pirganj Upazilla Auditorium of the district today.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Mejbaul Hossain presided over the program.
Jatiya Sangsad Speaker and Pirganj constituency MP, Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury spoke as the chief guest in the ceremony through an online video meeting app.
Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Deputy Secretary Kazi Abed Hossain Mishuk was also present as special guest.
Pirganj Municipality Mayor and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Tajimul Islam Shamim, Awami League leaders Khalilur Rahman Mandal and Shahidul Islam Pintu, Upazila Woman Vice Chairman Raushan Alam Reena, Municipal Councilor Saiful Azad, Inspector (Investigation) Masumur Rahman, ‘Bojro Kotha’ Editor Sultan Ahmed Sona, journalists Mazharul Alam Milon and Bakhtiyar Rahman and Headmaster of Sheikh Hasina Girls High School AFM Rafiqul Islam, among others, spoke at the ceremony.
