E-PASSPORT-RANGPUR (with picture)
E-passport services launched in Rangpur
RANGPUR, July 15, 2020 (BSS) – The Divisional Passport and Visa
Office launched electronic passport or e-passport services in a
function held here today to enable common citizens in getting
e-passports easily by submitting online applications sitting at homes.
Additional Project Director of the Implementation of E-passport and
Automated Border Control Management Project Colonel Md. Zulfiker Ali
inaugurated the e-passport services by cutting ribbon and unveiling a
plaque as the chief guest.
Deputy Project Director of the project Wing Commander Md. Rakibul
Hasan attended it as the special guest.
Assistant Director of Rangpur Divisional Passport and Visa Office
Md. Shariful Islam presided over the function arranged strictly
maintaining physical distance and health directives of the government
in the office here.
The chief guest described various aspects of e-passports, its
benefits and submitting online applications process easily from home.
