Two held with wine in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 15, 2020 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged illegal drug peddlers with 112 bottles of local wine from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this afternoon.
The arrested was identified as Md. Abdullah Al Mahbub, 26 and Md. Musfiqur Zaman Shimul, 29 both of Tikrampur Modhyapara village under Chapainawabganj municipality.
RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Atahar area on Chapainawabganj-Amnura road near Nawab Auto Rice Mills around 4.15 pm and nabbed the duo with the drugs.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana with a case.
