Fake facebook ID user cheat held in Rangpur
RANGPUR, July 15, 2020 (BSS) – The Crime Prevention Specialised Company (CPSC) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a leader of an organised gang of cheats on Tuesday evening from Kadirabad area in Pirganj upazila of the district.
“The elite force arrested the man for cheating people by realizing huge money through opening fake facebook IDs using names of state level important persons, an incumbent Member of Parliament and an incumbent Secretary,” a press release said here tonight
The arrested cheat is Md. Rezwanul Haque, 21, of village Madankhali in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur district.
The arrested man admitted that he had been cheating local political leaders, government officials and other people by realizing huge money from them in many ways using fake facebook IDs and facebook massagers through a bank account for a long time.
“The elite force filed a case against the arrested person before handing him over to Pirganj police station,” the release said, adding that investigation continues to nab other absconding members of the gang of cheats.
