7 held with illegal drugs in Bhola
BHOLA, July 12, 2020 (BSS) –Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested seven people with illegal drugs from Sadar and Borhanuddin upazilas here last night.
The detainees are Md Humayun 30, Md Rashed 20, Md Nagor, 20, Saiful Islam, 28,Khorshed Alam, 65, Mehedi Hasan, 22 and Beni Amin Mollah, 60.
District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Kaiser told BSS that lawenforcers conducted a driveat Dhania union under Sadar upazila around 10pm and arrested Humayun, Nagor and Rashed with 100 grams of cannabis.
Another team of DB police arrested Saiful Islam and Khorshed Alam from Charchiphali village of Charsamaiya union in Sadar upazila with 200 grams of cannabis, he said.
Earlier, Borhanuddin police arrested Mehedi Hasan and Beni Amin Mollah along with 21 pieces of yaba from Bathanbari area of the upazila, added the official.
Separate cases have been filed against them with respective police stations.
