Khalid for bringing more dynamism in Culture Ministry’s activities
DHAKA, July 6, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Culture KM Khalid today said speedy implementation of development projects would bring more dynamism in the ministry’s activities.
“The main success of the ministry lies in the activities and successes of the subordinate departments and agencies… From now on, activities of subordinate departments and agencies will be closely monitored and controlled,” said a press release quoting Khalid.
He was addressing as the chief guest at a reception of the newly appointed Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and farewell of the transferred Secretary at the Ministry conference room.
Speaking about the transferred Secretary Dr Md Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, the state minister said, “He is a talented, honest and efficient officer. He has played an important role in making the activities of the ministry dynamic and visible through his qualifications and skills.”
He also hoped that the newly appointed Secretary, M Badrul Arefin, Director General of Food Planning and Containment Unit, would play a supportive role in taking the ministry forward at this time, added the release.
Dr Md Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal has been transferred to the post of Secretary of the Ministry of Defence.
