Water Resources Ministry opens flood control room
DHAKA, June, 30, 2020 (BSS) – The Ministry of Water Resources has
set up a control room to monitor the flood situation across the
country during the current rainy season as well as to collect
flood-related information.
The information was revealed by ministry quoting the office order
signed by its senior assistant secretary Md. Ehetesham Reza today,
said a press release.
The contact number of the control room ‘01318234560’ will remain
active from 9 am to 8 pm every day.
State Minister for Water Resources Zahid Farooq said, “Our officials
are working in coordination with the district administration to deal
with the flood situation.”
The executive engineers from different parts of the country are
reporting on the flood situation, he added.
