BNP-Jamaat hatches conspiracies ahead of elections: Nasim
DHAKA, June 24, 2018 (BSS) – Central 14-party spokesperson and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim today said BNP-Jamaat and other anti-liberation forces are hatching conspiracies ahead of the next Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections.
“BNP-Jamaat clique is out to hatch conspiracy by making falsehood and lame excuses to thwart the next general elections,” he told a press conference at health minister’s office at JS Bhaban after a meeting of the alliance.
Nasim, also Awami League presidium member, said leaders and workers of 14-party will resist BNP-Jamaat, if they again carry out any arson attack, sabotage and violent acts centering the next parliamentary elections.
Earlier, a meeting was held with the minister in the chair.
Workers Party President and Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, Anisul Islam Mallik and Kamrul Ahsan of Workers Party, Salauddin Ahmed of Jatiya Party (JP), Rezaur Rashid Khan of Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BaSad), Shafiq Ahmed Khan of NAP, Syed Rezaul Haque Chandpuri of Tariqat Foundation and Karim Sikder of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal were present on the occasion.
Menon said BNP-Jamaat is out to create confusion in the mindset of people about the election.
