DHAKA, June 19, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League Presidium member and former home minister Advocate Sahara Khatun was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) this morning as her physical condition deteriorated.
A medical board on Thursday night took decision to send Sahara, also a lawmaker of Dhaka-18 constituency, to the ICU as her physical condition worsened, said M Mujibur Rahman, personal assistant of the veteran politician.
Mujibur Rahman, however, confirmed that Advocate Sahara Khatun was not infected with the COVID-19 as her sample was tested for coronavirus and the result was negative.
On June 2, Sahara Khatun, MP was admitted to the United Hospital due to sickness and since then she has been undergoing treatment at the hospital.
