Paddy to be collected at government’s pre-announced price : Sadhan
DHAKA, June 17, 2020 (BSS)- Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder today said paddy will be collected as per the pre-announced price of the government.
“Paddy will be collected at pre-announced price by the government. Stern steps should be taken for cancellation of illegal cards in food-friendly programmes,” he said while interacting with the concerned people of Barishal division through video conference from his official residence at Minto Road here.
Under the proper guidance of the government, he said farmers are getting fair price for the bumper production of the paddy.
To keep the price rate stable, he asked the officials concerned to expedite the government collection in this regard.
He advised them to collect food grains by checking the food’s quality.
He said legal action will be taken against the persons who will be involved with any irregularities.
About the rice mill owners, the food minister urged them to come forward with a mindset of serving the people of the country in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
