DHAKA, June 3, 2020 (BSS) – Mohammad Younus, father of Information
Secretary Kamrun Nahar and father-in-law of Cabinet Secretary Khandker
Anwarul Islam, was laid to eternal rest at the Azimpur graveyard in
the city this evening.
Earlier, his namaz-e-janaza was held in a limited scale on the
premises of his son-in-law Khandker Anwarul Islam’s official residence
here.
Mohammad Younus breathed his last at a city hospital this evening at
the age of 85.
He left behind five daughters, a son and a host of relatives and
admirers to mourn his death.
Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud and State Minister Dr Md Murad
Hassan as well as other ministers and state ministers expressed
profound shock and sorrow at the death of Mohammad Younus.
In separate condolence messages, they prayed for eternal peace of
the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
