ARREST-RECOVERY-C’NAWABGANJ
Two held with phensidyl in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 24, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 313 bottles of contraband
phensidyl from Chairman Square area under Nachole upazila in the district
this morning.
The arrestees were identified as Md. Shafiqul Islam, 28, of Protabshelgari
village under Sadullahpur upazila in Gaibandha district and Md. Liton Mia,
20, of Mohishbari Khalpar village under Rupsha upazila in Khulna district.
RAB sources said acting on tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Rajshahi Mollapara camp raided the aforesaid area around 6:30 am and detained
a private car.
After searching the car,the RAB personnel found the bottles of phensidyl.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Nachole
thana.
A case was filed in this regard.
