BFF observes Sadi’s 9th death anniversary
DHAKA, May 20, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) today
observed the 9th death anniversary of its former general secretary Al
Musabbir Sadi, seeking eternal peace of his departed soul.
BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, senior vice president, vice
presidents, executive members, standing committee and all officials and
employees of the federation prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and
conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family, a BFF press release said.
Sadi, the first professional general secretary of BFF and a noted sports
journalist, died of cancer on this day in 2011 at the age of only 44.
A senior member of the Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association, Sadi
started his career as a sports reporter at The Independent in 1995.
He later worked at The Daily Star from 2004 to 2009 as a senior reporter
before joining BFF in 2009.
