44 members of CMP infected with coronavirus
CHATTOGRAM, May 14, 2020 (BSS)- A total of 44 members of the Chattogram
Metropolitan Police (CMP) have been infected with coronavirus till today.
Among the cops, nine were discharged from the hospital as their report came
negative in two consecutive times.
Meanwhile, 10 members of Sadarghatthana police, including its officer in
Charge (OC) Fazlur Rahman Farooqi, were diagnosed with the corona virus.
CMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media) Abu Bakkar Siddique said 10
members, including the OC of Sadarghat police station, had been infected with
the corona virus.
“OC Farooqi, his bodyguard, two Sub Inspectors and six constables were
found corona positive in last three days test,” Siddique told BSS.
They have been asked to stay home quarantine for next 14 days, he added.
