Govt puts highest efforts to tackle COVID-19: Kamal Mojumder
DHAKA, May 13, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder said today the government is putting highest efforts to tackle the coronavirus crisis.
“Work is underway to implement the stimulus package of around Taka one lakh crore announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to keep the wheel of the country’s economy moving by overcoming the existing situation,” he said.
The state minister was distributing relief among the poor people in city’s Mirpur area where he distributed over 300 packets of food, said an official press release.
Kamal Mojumder said the facility of diagnosing the infected patients is being extended all over the country. New coronavirus laboratories and booths are being set up in different parts of the country, including the capital, he added.
