DHAKA, Apr 21, 2020 (BSS)- FIFA approved second payment of Taka 3,98,684
for injured national midfielder Masuk Mia Zoni’s treatment under the ‘Club
Protection’ scheme.
Masuk Mia Zoni suffered injury at match day practice session in Tajikistan
between Bangladesh and Afghanistan (FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifiers) match on
September 10 last year.
There is another payment for Zoni in this case of course, which also
currently await of FIFA approval and the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF)
will liaise with FIFA in that respect. FIFA have already got all the
necessary documents of Zoni’s treatment.
Earlier, in February, Zoni got the first payment of near about Taka four
lacs for his injury treatment after BFF formally applied to FIFA for
financial assistance for the injury treatment of Zoni.
