MYMENSINGH, April 12, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs K M Khalid continues distribution of essential food items among the poor and jobless day labourers in Muktagacha upazila of the district to mitigate their hardship due to coronavirus situation.
The state minister told BSS that he has already distributed food items including rice, pulses, edible oil, salt and soap among three thousands poor and unemployed workers of nine wards of Muktagacha municipality.
Secretary of Muktagacha upazila Awami league (AL) Billal Hossen Sarker and other local AL leaders are distributing food items among destitute people on behalf of the state minister, he said.
He also said he will distribute food items among 13 thousand poor people in all 10 unions of the upazila within a shortest possible time.
