2 Jasod MPs to donate three months salary to PM’s fund
DHAKA, April 7, 2020 (BSS) – Two Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (Jasod) lawmakers have announced to donate their three months’ full salary and other benefits and nine months’ half of salary and benefits to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to stand by distressed people in the wake of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Jasod president Hasanul Haq Inu and its general secretary Shirin Akhter made the announcement to donate their salaries, said a press release today.
They expressed the hope that it would encourage other lawmakers to stand by the distressed people.
