Mentioning the donation of the 50 organisations to her relief fund, the prime
minister said if everyone extends their helping hands following the policy
that “man stand for man” then the current problem of the country will be over
soon.

She pointed out that the virus has posed similar threat to the rich or the
poor, saying, “It seems to prove a thing that there are no differences among
the people.”

“All the countries whatever powerful they are in terms of economy and arms
are facing the same blow from the virus and none but the Almighty has the
strength to combat the virus,” she said.

The premier once again called upon the countrymen to offer prayers on the
night of Shab-e-Barat staying at home and pray to the Allah to save
Bangladesh, its people and the entire world from the wrath of the
coronavirus.

She reiterated her call to all to celebrate the Pahela Baishakh, the first
day of the Bangla New Year, at home digitally and through media such as
radio, television, social media avoiding mass gatherings to prevent
coronavirus spread.
