25 persons fined for violating quarantine rules in Faridpur
FARIDPUR, April 3, 2020 (BSS) – Mobile courts here today fined 25 persons for violating administrative order relating to quarantine and ‘stay home’ directives in separate drives.
The violators faced fine of Taka 52,800 in Faridpur Sadar, Madhukhali and Boyalmari upazilas in the district.
Executive magistrates Md Zakir Hossain, Afroz Shahin Khosru, Modhukhali AC land Shanta Rahaman and Boalmari UNO Zuton Chanda of Faridpur district administration conducted the mobile courts while members of army were also present there.
Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Dipok Kumar Roy of Faridpur said the 25 persons were fined under Section 188 of Penal Code 1860.
