Mild heat wave may continue

DHAKA, June 15, 2018 (BSS) – Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna
division and the regions of Tangail, Madaripur, Faridpur, Rajshahi and Pabna
and it may continue and spread to adjacent regions, a met office release said
here today.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur,
Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and few place over Dhaka and
Barisal divisions.

Moreover, weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky
elsewhere over the country with moderately heavy to heavy falls over Sylhet
division.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Country’s highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 37.8 degree
celsius at Jashore while the minimum temperature on Friday was recorded 23.1
degree celsius at Srimangal.

Highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6 am on Friday was
recorded 141 millimeters at Sylhet. Day and night temperature may rise
slightly over the country.

Today’s sunset in the capital will be at 6:47pm and sunrise in tomorrow
will be at 5:11am.
