Antiseptic liquid being sprayed in city
DHAKA, March 27, 2020 (BSS) – Antiseptic liquid containing bleaching powder is being sprayed in different areas in the city to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus infection.
The germicide liquid was sprayed today at Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital, Ashkona, Sector 11 and other areas in Uttara, Narda and Khilkhet, Mirpur, Tolarbagh, Agargaon, Taltola, 60 Feet, Kalyanpur, Model Academy, Banani, Gulshan, Mahakhali and adjoining areas, Maghbazar, Tejgaon industrial area, Farmgate and adjoining areas, Bashundhara residential and adjoining areas and Mohammadpur and College Gate areas.
LGRD and Cooperatives Ministry and Dhaka North City Corporation took the initiative.
Besides, medicine and germicide were spared in DNCC areas to prevent mosquito-borne diseases.
DNCC authorities provided 1,200 pairs of high quality hand gloves and 1000 pairs of boot shoes while every ward councilor received 50 kgs of bleaching powder and 200 pieces of soap each and reserved ward councilor received 25 kgs of powder and 200 pieces of soap each.
