5 die as tree falls on easy-bike in Dhamrai
SAVAR, Mar 9, 2020 (BSS) – Five passengers of a battery-run easy-bike died
when a roadside tree fell on them at Dhamrai of Savar this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Mazeda Begum, 62, Ayesha Begum, 58,
Shafelai Khatun, 61, Shamsul Haque and Nurul Islam 60, said Officer-in-Charge
(OC) of Dhamrai police station Dipok Saha.
He said, “Five were killed and two others injured while the tree fell on
the running easy bike as some workers were cutting it.” The injured were
admitted to a Jonoklyan Hospaital at Kawlipara of Dhamrai.
