Construction work of Muktijoddha complexes at 378 upazilas completed
DHAKA, March 9, 2020 (BSS) – The construction work of Muktijoddha complexes
in 63 districts and 378 upazilas has been completed in the country.
Apart from this, construction of the complexes in Dhaka district and 22
upazilas is going on as the government has a plan to set up freedom fighters’
complexes at 470 upazilas across the country.
This was informed at the review meeting of the Annual Development Program
(ADP) in the conference room of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs here
today with Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque in the chair.
At the meeting Mozammel said, “The projects of the Liberation War Affairs
Ministry are very important and related to national consciousness. So, the
ongoing projects need to be completed within the stipulated time, ensuring
proper quality. ”
It was also informed at the meeting that Muktijoddha complexes would be
constructed at 470 upazilas.
Secretary of Liberation War Affairs Ministry Md. Aminul Islam, project
directors and high officials of the Ministry Liberation War Affairs attended
the meeting, among others.
