CID held one with 3,950 bottles phensidyl in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Feb 20, 2020 (BSS) – The Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
of Police arrested one ‘trader’ and seized 3,950 bottles of phensidyl from
his business godown in Rajarampur bazar area under Badarganj upazila of the
district today.

Md Shahriar Rahman disclosed the information at a press briefing arranged at
Rangpur CID office in the city this afternoon.
Acting on secret information, a special team of CID police from its
Rangpur office conducted a raid at the godown and seized the phensidyl packed
in sacs from the spot.
The CID Police team arrested owner of the godown Mashiur Rahman, also a
member of the organised gang of drug smugglers, during the raid.
