Bangladesh Health Association withdraws strike
DHAKA, Feb 20, 2020 (BSS) – Leaders of Bangladesh Health Association, an
organisation for health assistant, today withdrew their strike announced to
be held on Saturday.
Leaders of Bangladesh Health Association withdrew the strike after an
emergency meeting with Health Minister Zahid Maleque in the chair at the
conference room of Health Ministry, said a press release.
During the meeting also participated by high officials of the ministry
concerned, the health minister assured the leaders of Bangladesh Health
Association of fulfilling their logical demands, the release added.
Leaders of the organisation recently announced the strike demanding up-
gradation of job status (technical post) and salary scale.
