RAJSHAHI, Feb 20, 2020 (BSS)- A two-day training-workshop on ‘Good Governance Consolidation’ ended at Paba upazila parishad conference hall in
the district today with the call of working in this field collectively.
National Institute of Mass Communication (NIMCO) under its Platform for
Dialogue (P4D) project hosted the workshop in joint collaboration with
Cabinet division, British Council and European Union.
A total of 25 journalists of both print and electronic media took part in
the workshop. They were imparted training on how to write in-depth report and
feature on establishing good governance along with its consolidation.
In the closing day, two working sessions on the topic were conducted.
Paba Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahadat Hossain and Deputy Director of District
Information Office Nafeyala Nasrin conducted the sessions on Citizen Charter
and Annual Performance Agreement respectively.
Deputy Commissioner Hamidul Haque addressed the closing ceremony as the
chief guest while Upazila Chairman Monsur Rahman, Deputy Principal
Information Officer in Regional Office of Press Information Department
Afrauzzaman, NIMCO Deputy Directors Syed Jahidul Islam and Abujar Gaffari
spoke as special guests.
