Post Directorate signs MoU with D Money Bangladesh Ltd.
DHAKA, Feb 13, 2020 (BSS) – Directorate of Post today signed a memorandums of understanding (MoU) with D Money Bangladesh Limited to convert cash transactions into digital transactions for expanding the areas of digital services.
Director General of Post Directorate SS Vadra and Vice Chairman of D Money Bangladesh Limited Sonia Bashir Kabir signed the deal for their respective organizations.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, Secretary of ICT directorate NUru Ur Rahman and Managing Director of D Money Bangladesh Limited Aref Bashir were also present at the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, postal services will be digitized and all-utility bills and social safety net allowances can be paid in digital manner through D Money program.
This is the second initiative of the Posts and Telecommunications Department to establish cashless society.
