328 cartons cigarettes seized at HSIA
DHAKA, Feb 6, 2020 (BSS) – Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBN) today
arrested a man with 328 cartons foreign cigarettes at Hazrat Shahjalal
International Airport here.
The detainee was identified as Md. Monjur Ali, 26.
APBN Additional Superintendent of Police (operations and media) Alamgir
Hossain Shimul today confirmed the matter to BSS.
Legal actions have been taken in this regard, he added.
The estimated cost of the seized cigarettes is approximately Taka 9.84
lakh.
