DHAKA, August 09, 2017 (BSS) – Bangladesh Ambassador to Japan, Rabab Fatima today paid tributes to those killed and injured in the nuclear bomb attack in Japan in 1945.
Rabab led a delegation of the Asian countries to place wreaths at Peace Park in Nagasaki city marking the 72nd anniversary of the nuclear attack, said an official release here.
Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Foreign Minister Taro Kono and the speaker of Japan parliament and leaders of different political parties were present on the occasion.
This year, Japan is observing the 72nd anniversary of the nuclear bomb attack Nagasaki in 1945, the release added.
