4,349 affected by cold-related diseases in 24-hrs
DHAKA, Jan 31, 2020 (BSS) – Various cold-related diseases have affected
4,349 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
Data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) control room
showed that 920 of the patients received treatment for acute respiratory
infection.
Another 2,103 were treated for diarrhoea and 1,326 for other diseases
including jaundice, inflammation in the eye, skin diseases and fever, a press
release said here today.
A total of 57 deaths were reported across the country between November 1
and January 30 due to the cold-related diseases.
