DHAKA, Jan 23, 2020 (BSS) – The met office today predicted the weather
may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 9 am
tomorrow.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight
to tomorrow morning, said a met office bulletin issued here this morning.
Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Mymensingh and
Sylhet divisions and the regions of Tangail, Rangamati and Naogaon and it may
continue at places, said the bulletin.
However, night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the
country. As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted
night temperature may fall further.
The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 29.8 degree Celsius in
Teknaf of Chattogram division, while today’s minimum temperature is 06.0
degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division.
The sun sets at 5:38 pm today and rises at 6:42 am tomorrow in the
capital.
