DHAKA, Aug 7, 2017 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places in Khulna, Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places in the country, said a met office release here today.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said, adding that rainfall activity may increase for the next 72 hours commencing from 6 am today.
Country’s highest rainfall for the last twenty-four hours as of 6 am today was recorded 114 millimeters (mm) at Teknaf followed by 84 millimeters (mm) at Hatiya.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.4 degree Celsius jointly at Dinajpur and Chuadanga while lowest temperature 24.5 degree Celsius at Teknaf.
