GAIBANDHA, Jan 10, 2020 (BSS) – All necessary preparation has been taken on countdown celebration of ‘Mujib Year’ organized by district
administration.
This was revealed by Abdul Matin, deputy commissioner (DC), at the
conference room of district administration here.
The DC briefed the journalists saying that the countdown of Mujib Year,
birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman, would be launched today.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would formally inaugurate the countdown
machines at the National Parade Ground at Tejgaon in Dhaka, he added. Then,
the high altitude digital machines set up at important and visible places of
the district and upazila towns would go to countdown activity of Mujib Year,
the DC added.
Bangabandhu’s birth centenary celebrations, officially termed Mujib
Borsho, will start on his birthday, March 17 and it will continue till March
17, 2021.
