Civic amenities will be ensured, if I am elected: Taposh
DHAKA, Dec 31, 2019 (BSS) – Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayoral
candidate from the ruling Awami League Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh
today said civic amenities would be ensured if he is elected in the city
polls.
“If I am elected in the polls, the civic amenities for the city dwellers
will be ensured,” he told journalists while submitting his nomination paper
to the returning officer at Gopibagh here.
Greeting city residents on the eve of the English New Year, Barrister
Taposh said, “My prime and first task will be to ensure the fundamental civic
amenities to townspeople, If they give me a chance to be a mayor of the
metropolitan city.”
“I will be more careful about fulfilling all the pledges which I have
already made for the people,” he said, adding that the city people have been
deprived of their civic amenities for long.
Awami League presidium members – Abdur Rahman, Jahangir Kabir Nanak-
Joint General Secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif, Organising Secretary Mirza
Azam, Jubo League president Sheikh Fazley Shams Parash, among others, were
present during the submission.
