DHAKA, Dec 31, 2019 (BSS) – The government has appointed Senior Secretary of Social Welfare Ministry Zuena Aziz as Chief Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for three years.
According to a circular issued by the public administration ministry yesterday, the appointment will be effective from Jan 1, 2020 or the day of her joining. Her post-retirement leave (PRL) has been cancelled with the appointment.
Senior Secretary Zuena Aziz is a 1984 batch BCS (Administration) cadre officer. She joined the public service in 1986 and performed her responsibilities in different capacities at the field-level administration and at the Secretariat. She was due to go on PRL on January 1, 2020.
