PM’s Military Secretary Maj. Gen Zainul Abedin passes away
DHAKA, Dec 17, 2019 (BSS) – Military Secretary to the Prime Minister Major General Mia Mohammad Zainul Abedin Bir Bikram passed away at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore at 5.13pm local time today.
He was 59.
Zainul Abedin left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed profound shock at the death of Major General Zainul Abedin.
Born on January 1 in 1960 at Satkania under Chattogram district, Zainul Abedin was commissioned in the Bangladesh Army in 1980.
He took charge of military secretary of the prime minister on November 28 in 2011.
