Liberation War ministry to scan Razakar’s list
DHAKA, Dec 17, 2019 (BSS) – The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs today said it will scrutinize properly the Razakars’ list, published on December 15, as allegations of inclusion of the names of some freedom fighters was made in the list as Rajakars rose .
Expressing regretful for the inadvertent mistake in the list, the ministry said if name of any freedom fighter is included into the list mistakenly it will be cut off, said the ministry’s press release.
The ministry claimed that they did not publish any new list rather they published the list provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
It also said that they will investigate how the names of freedom fighters get enrolled in the list, the release added.
The Liberation War Affairs Ministry on Sunday published a list of 10,789 Razakars who collaborated with the Pakistani occupation forces during the War of Liberation in 1971.
