Schoolboy drowns in Jamalpur
JAMALPUR, Dec 6, 2019 (BSS) – A schoolboy drowned in a pond in the town this morning.
The victim was identified as Md Arafat Hossain Simanta, 12, son of one Md Faruk Miah in Muslimabad area in the municipality. He was a class six student at Singhajani Multipurpose Boys High School.
Hospital sources said Arafat Hossain Simanta drowned while taking bathe along with his friends in the pond in Doyamoyee area in the town.
Local people recovered Simanta and rushed to Jamalpur General Hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead.
