DHAKA, Dec 4, 2019 (BSS)-The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has started
selling tickets for the grand opening ceremony and the concert of Bangabandhu
Bangladesh Premier Leagu (BBPL) which will be held on December 8 at Sher-e-
Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
BCB official said that they can accommodate only 8,000 tickets for the
opening ceremony but for public 5,000 tickets go on sale as the rest will go
as complimentary.
The lowest price of the ticket is Taka 1,000 while the highest price is
Taka 10,000. The tickets can be bought from Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium,
Shaheed Suhrawordy Indoor Stadium, The Westin Dhaka, Gulshan, Fahim Music,
Banani and Cafe Eden, Gulshan. For the online buyers, the tickets are
available at shohoz.com, paypoint.com.bd and gadgetbangla.com, confirmed BCB.
“We are arranging this program for only 8,000 people. We are creating a
big stage in the outfield which means we are unable to open every gallery for
the spectators,” BBPL governing council chairman Sheikh Sohel said here
today.
He revealed that Bangladesh rockstar James will perform in the event
along with popstar Momtaz. Besides Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif,
Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher will also perform in the event.
The special edition of BPL, which is dedicated to the Father of the
Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to celebrate his birth centnary,
will kick off on December 11 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. A
total of seven teams will be fighting for the title in this prestigious T20
event of the country.
Along with the top Bangladeshi cricketers, many international stars will
also show their cricketing prowess at the event.
