Pabna school headmaster beaten to death
PABNA , Nov 23, 2019 (BSS)- A headmaster of a primary school was beaten
to death allegedly over land dispute in Atgharia upazila of the district this
morning.
The deceased could be identified as Ashraf Ali, 45, a headmaster at Fulbaria
Primary School in Ekdanta union of the upazila , police and relatives said .
Ashraf’s son Hossain, said at certain stage of altercation between his
father and neighbor Afjal Hossain over land dispute Afjal started
beating his father with the stick indiscriminately that resulted in the
death of Ashraf .
Ashraf Ali was also the General Secretary of Atgharia upazila Teachers’
Association.
Officer-in-Charge of Atgharia Police Station Rakibul Islam confirmed that
police have been sent to the area to bring the body to the morgue.
