DHAKA, Nov 23, 2019 (BSS) – Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil have been made chairman and general secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, the youth wing of ruling Awami League, for the next three years.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today announced the names at the second session of the Jubo League congress.
Parash is the eldest son of Jubo League founder Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni, while Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil was the chairman of the outgoing committee of Dhaka North Jubo League.
Awami League Chairman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Jubo League’s 7th National Congress at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital this morning.
Convener Chayon Islam of the preparatory committee of Jubo League council presided over the function.
Preparatory committee member secretary Harunur Rashid spoke, among others, on the occasion.
