Road accidents kill 2 in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 22, 2019 (BSS)- Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the district today.
Police sources said a motorcyclist Mohammad Ismail, 21, received injuries when a Chattogram-bound Marsha Passenger bus hit his motorcycle in Chunoti area of Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar road under Lohogara thana at 2 pm.
He was rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared Ismail dead.
In another accident, van puller Mohammad Kalam, 35, received serious injuries hit by a speedy passenger bus in Kumira area under Sitakunda upazila around 7 am.
He was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the attending doctors declared him dead.
Two cases were filed.
