Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi observed in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Nov 10, 2019 (BSS) – The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi was observed
today in the city with due religious fervour, solemnity and a fresh call for
following ideals of the great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

The Islamic Foundation, Ahle Sunnat Wale Jamaat and Mashaikh Tarikat
Committee, Gausia Committee Bangladesh, Nasirabad Ekramia Mahbubia and
Nasirabad Darbar Sharif and different mosque authorities chalked out
programmes marking the Day.

The Islamic Foundation organised recitation from the Holy Quran followed
by milad mahfil and offered special munajats at its auditorium in the city.

“The Islamic Foundation will organise the main discussion on November 14
and competitions on Hamd and Naat-e-Rasul and religious songs for students on
November 17 marking the Day,” Assistant Director of Islamic Foundation Md.
Shamsul Haque told BSS this afternoon.

The Ahle Sunnat Wale Jamaat and Mashaikh Tarikat Committee, Gausia
Committee Bangladesh, Nasirabad Ekramia Mahbubia and Nasirabad Darbar Sharif
brought out Jashne Juluse Eid-e-Miladunnabi processions on the city streets.

Later, a discussion was arranged at Public Library premises in the city
with Islamic Thinker Moulana Mohammad Bashir Uddin.

Islamic Thinkers, including Khatib of Rangpur Court Jam-e-Mosque Alhaj
Moulana Md. Hafizul Islam, Imam of Nasirabad Ekramia Jam-e-Mosque Hafez
Moulana Mohammad Tazul Islam, Moulana Mohammad Anisur Rahman, among others,
addressed.

The Islamic Thinkers said the people, who have followed the ideals of the
Prophet (PBUH), have been turned into golden people and they will be awarded
with the Zannatul Ferdous by the Almighty Allah.

Moulana Bashir Uddin called for following the ideals of Prophet Hazrat
Muhammad (PBUH) who brought the light of purification for the whole humankind
and his real followers have become successful in purifying them for both the
worlds.

Earlier, the major mosques were colorfully illuminated, Quran Khwani,
milad mahfils, discussions on the life and woks of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad
(PBUH) were arranged and special prayers were offered at all mosques last
night marking the Day.

Hundreds of Musollis took part in doa and milad mahfils and offered
special prayers for continuous peace, prosperity, progress and development of
the country and its people and the Muslim Ummah and the humanity as a whole.
