Water levels of 37 rivers rise, 50 fall

DHAKA, July 31, 2017 (BSS) – Water levels at 37 river stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise while 50 stations recorded fall.

Among the 90 monitored water level stations, three stations have been registered steady while two river stations are flowing above danger level, a bulletin issued by the FFWC said here today.

The Kobadak river at Jhikargacha and the Kangsha at Jariajanjail are flowing above danger level 39 cm and 10 cm respectively.
