Vietnam collecting DNA from relatives of suspected UK truck victims

NGHE AN, Vietnam, Oct 27, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Vietnamese officials on Sunday collected DNA samples from the families of Vietnamese nationals feared among the 39 bodies found in a truck in Britain this week, a security source and relatives told AFP.

“We have started collecting hair and blood samples of families of suspected victims,” the source told AFP, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The family of a missing man confirmed to AFP that DNA samples were taken earlier Sunday.
