AL leader Abul Kalam dies
DHAKA, Oct 15, 2019 (BSS) – Shariatpur Sadar Upazila Awami League (AL) General Secretary and former Assistant Teacher of Shariatpur Palong High School Abul Kalam died at a city hospital today.
He was 67, family sources said.
He is survived by wife, a son and three daughters.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her profound sorrow at the death of Abul Kalam. In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate messages, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and Shariatpur-3 constituency lawmaker Iqbal Hossain Apu also expressed deep shock at his death.
