DHAKA, Oct 6, 2019 (BSS)-Bangladesh A bowler came up with clueless bowling to let Sri Lanka hold the ace on the day three of second four-day game on Sunday at the Hambantota.

Sri Lanka reached 126 for no loss in their second innings before the bails for third day was drawn. By the time they stretched their lead to 64 runs.

Pathun Nissanka was batting on 75 with Sangeeth Cooray was on 50.

Resuming the day on 283-6, Bangladesh was able to add just 47 runs to their overnight total to be all out for 330. That gave them a 62-run lead over Sri Lanka, who was bowled out for 268 in the first innings.

But bowlers’ disarray bowling meant Bangladesh A couldn’t hold the
advantage at the end of the day.

Much was depending on overnight unbeaten batsmen Nurul Hasan Sohan and
Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Sohan added just seven runs to be out on 36 and sparked the collapse.
Mehidy Miraz held together the innings but wickets tumbling around him,
leaving him stranded on 38.
