FINANCE-OFFICERS-ELECTION
Enamul, Shohagh elected president, GS of Finance Div officers-employees
association
DHAKA, Oct 1, 2019 (BSS) – M Enamul Haque, administrative officer of
Finance Division was elected president while M Mofizul Islam Shohagh, also an
administrative officer, was elected general secretary of the Finance Division
and Financial Institution Division officers-employees association.
The voting to the Association was held yesterday (Monday) at the Finance
Ministry conference room in a festive mood under the overall supervision of
Finance Secretary Abdur Rouf Talukder, said a Ministry press release today.
Finance Division deputy secretary M Firoz Ahmed acted as the chief election
commissioner while Mohammad Saidul Islam and Senior Assistant Secretary Nuruddin Al
Faruk were the election commissioners.
The other elected office bearers are – vice presidents: M Yusuf Hasan, M
Golam Mostafa, Zahida Khatun; joint general secretaries: Nuruzzaman, Abu
Sayeed, SM Tajuddin, organizing secretary: Nurun Nahar Moni, finance
secretary: Mahbub Hossain, social welfare secretary: Mejbah-ul-Islam, office
secretary: Hasan Mahmud, publicity secretary: Kamrul Hasan; sports and
cultural affairs secretary: Nurul Alam and women affairs secretary; Begum
Jahanara Khatun.
